Clarence Elmer Cooper

October 21, 1915 — June 28, 2006

Born in Quincy, Illinois, he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a flight engineer and belly gunner on B-17s based in England. He later was a diesel mechanic and pilot and enhoyed flying, playing dominoes and photography. He traveled around the country with a friend and opened one of the first ski runs in Colorado.
