Clarissa Mona "Button" Mike

AK-CHIN — Clarissa Mona “Button” Mike, 36, of Ak-Chin died on March 29, 2010 at Maricopa County Medical Center.
Ms. Mike, the Ak-Chin Tribal Council secretary, will lie in state from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the Ak-Chin Service Center. The wake will begin at 6 p.m. at the Theodore Enos home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1974 in Phoenix and graduated from Maricopa High School in 1992. She worked at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort before becoming the Tribal Council secretary.

She enjoyed getting her nails done and going for walks in the evening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spent much time taking care of a special niece. She was very happy and always put her family and friends first.

Survivors include a daughter, Chelsey P. Mike of Ak-Chin; a son, Tyler M. Lewis of Ak-Chin; a sister, Teresa M. Valisto of Ak-Chin; her grandfather, Theodore Enos of Ak-Chin; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement Mike and Phoebe Enos.
