Claudell Young

CASA GRANDE - Claudell Young, 61, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 7, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Young was born on June 9, 1954, in Casa Grande. He worked in the movie industry as a lighting director and had pictures of many stars he worked with. He collected many things and loved being with his family, friends and loved ones. He liked to watch sports and bet on dog and horse races.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracye Craig of Glendale; three brothers, Wayne R. and Matthew J. Young Jr. of Casa Grande and James Cartwright of Florence; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erma and Matthew J. Young Sr., and a sister, Deann Sharp.

The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fountains of Living Water Church, with Pastor Hank Cannon officiating.
