Claudia Ivette Melendez

Claudia Ivette Melendez, 40, died on June 26, 2022, in Chandler.

Ms. Melendez was born on June 7, 1982, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She lived in Compton, California, and moved to Casa Grande 30 years ago. She liked Norteño music and dancing to country. She also liked drawing, American football, exercise and helping people.

She worked to help women and to interpret for people who do not speak English. She donated all of her organs to help others.

Survivors include one adult child, Belen Ramirez of Casa Grande; Parents, Maria Melendez and Hipolito Melendez, two siblings, Yvonne Melendez of Casa Grande and Jess Melendez of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.
