Clayton Card Sr., age 86, of Blackwater, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1938, in Casa Blanca to Russell and Emily Card.
Clayton is remembered for his kindness and dedication to his community. He devoted his life to pastoral service, sharing his passion for music by singing gospel songs on the radio with his wife every Sunday. Throughout his ministry, he traveled extensively, preaching the word of God and enriching the lives of many. A talented musician, Clayton enjoyed playing the guitar and shared this love by teaching his brothers to play as well.
He is survived by his brothers, Howard Sr., Elmer, and Clifton Card. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diana Card, his son Clayton Card Jr., and his parents.
Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the District One Services Center in Blackwater.
Clayton's warmth and spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
