A kind soul, a phenomenal friend, a loving son and brother…Clayton Ryan Taylor will be remembered for these things and many more. Clayton left this life too soon on April 29, 2018. He passed away at his home in Prescott, Arizona, where he had lived for the past four years. He was 30. Clayton was born on June 6, 1987 in Casa Grande, Arizona. He lived there most of his life, and enjoyed camping, fishing and baseball. His love of playing baseball grew into a lifelong passion for the sport, making him an avid Diamondbacks fan.
But mostly, Clayton will be forever remembered for his smile that could warm a heart, his eyes that could light up a room and his strong faith. He touched and inspired many lives and will be so deeply missed by those who loved him.
Clayton is survived by his parents, Janet Taylor and Clayton Golson of Coolidge, and Terry Taylor of Chandler.
He and his mother shared an especially close bond and were in near daily contact. His spirit also lives on through his beloved sister, Carlyn Taylor-Salazar, whom he looked up to and was so proud of her accomplishments.
He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Michael Salazar and his niece, Shelby Salazar. Clayton will also be missed by stepbrothers, Aaron, Michael and Devan Golson, as well as a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
A funeral service in memory of Clayton will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at J. Warren Funeral Home,
525 N. Peart Road in Casa Grande. This will be followed by a celebration of life at the home of Janet Taylor and Clayton Golson. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association.
