Cleo "Joann" Wayne

MARICOPA - Cleo JoAnn Wayne, 72, of Maricopa died on May 29, 2017.

Mrs. Wayne was born on Oct. 16, 1944, and was a daughter of Joseph and Audrey Barrett. She was devoted to her family and loved them unconditionally. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved nature, and watching birds started her day. The hummingbird was her favorite. She was respected by others.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Arnold Wayne; two sons, Errand and Michael Williams; a daughter, Samantha Cain; a sister, Verna Banks; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Jr., and her youngest son, Dimitrius Williams.

Visitation at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. Service and reception beginning at noon at J. Warren Memory Gardens.
