Colben Thomas

Colben Thomas, 23, died on August 6, 2024, days after celebrating his birthday. Born on August 4, 2001, in Tucson to Maureen Lanice Thomas and Cameron Thomas. 

Colben found joy in listening to music and playing baseball. He was known for willingness to help others and took in keeping things tidy. His caring nature shone brightly in the time he spent with his daughters, Briella and Yvonna, who cherished their moments together. 

Colben is survived by his father, Cameron, his daughters, Briella and Yvonna Thomas, and his siblings Lanice and Tommy Thomas. His grandmother, Caroline Thomas, and three uncles, his God sister, Analyssa Jose and the mother of his children, Shanicia Yazzie. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maureen L. Thomas. 

An all-night wake will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at The Thomas residence in Chuichu, starting at 7 p.m. The burial will be on Thursday at 5 a.m. at Chuichi South Cemetery, Tohono O’odham Nation.
