Colbert Johnson

BLACKWATER - Colbert Calvin Johnson, 61, of Blackwater died on Nov. 10, 2014, at Symphony of Mesa.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blackwater Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson was Baptist and worked for the city of Yuma’s Public Works Department. He enjoyed team roping and shoeing horses.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Franklin of Plano, Texas; a son, Dakota C. Johnson of Phoenix; two sisters, Ruby Carrillo of Coolidge and Lahoma Cardenas of Blackwater; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. and Rita Manuel Johnson, and seven brothers.
