Concepcion S. Quijada

ELOY - Concepcion S. Quijada, 82, of Eloy died on April 30, 2017, at home, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Quijada was born on Sept. 28, 1934, in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, to Trinidad and Ramona (Felix) Siqueiros. She was devoted to her family and a hardworking woman who helped anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially tamales and empanadas, and taking care of her garden.

Survivors include eight daughters, Angelita Martinez and Yolanda Lino of Eloy, Dolores Martinez and Marisela Jimenez of Sahuarita, Luz Meza, Trinidad Jimenez, Gabriella Siqueiros and Connie Salinas, all of Eloy; a son, Hector Quijada of Eloy; a brother, Raul Siqueiros of Nogales, Sonora; 36 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon E.; three sons, Ramon Quijada Jr., Miguel and and Francisco Quijada; a brother, Manuel Siqueiros; five sisters, Mercedes Siqueiros, Lidia Johnson, Guadalupe Rollins, Juanita and Josephine Siqueiros; three grandchildren, Ramon Quijada III, Gabriel Quijada and Martha Lino; and a great-grandson, Albert Ruiz Jr.

Visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary at 4 and scripture service following. Deacon Steve DiMuzio officiating. Inurnment later in Valley Memorial Park.
