Concha Montijo

ELOY - Concha Montijo, 92, of Eloy died on Nov. 17, 2018, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

Ms. Montijo was born on Dec. 8, 1925, in Eloy to Ray and Aurelia Montijo. She was a cook for Eloy Schools before retiring.

Survivors include two sons, Ruben Guanajuato Sr. of Casa Grande and Asencion Guanajuato Jr. of Picacho; three sisters, Gloria Ruiz and Frances Calvo of Eloy and Lupe Frausto of California; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Arturo, Aurelio, Hector and Ray Montijo; five sisters, Cruz Cosillos, Belen Bojorquez, Sara Carino, Rosa Rodriguez and Nora Jimenez; and a grandson, Eric Guanajuato.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
