Conrad Hernandez, 64, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 27, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Iglesia Bautista Emanuel, with the Rev. Tim Pruit officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Hernandez was born on March 4, 1948, in Artesia, N.M., and was a son of Celia Cassas and Marcelino Hernandez. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a maintenance technician in the mining industry. He was a Sunday school director at Iglesia Bautista Emanuel, where he was a member for 35 years. He loved his family and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and active in the community as a coach.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; a son Conrad Hernandez Jr. of Casa Grande; two daughters, Corinna Hernandez of Phoenix and Laura Hernandez of Casa Grande; five brothers, Damacio Hernandez of Casa Grande, Peter Hernandez of North Dakota, Jose Luis Hernandez of Washington, Jerry and Edward Hernandez of Casa Grande; two sisters, Rosie Lopez of Tucson and Beatrice Hernandez of Casa Grande; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rogelio and Luis Hernandez, and three sisters, Leona Mejia, Bertha Nino and Catalina Hernandez.
