Crescencio V. Carino, 88, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 4, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 9:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Carino was born on April 9, 1924, in Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico, and was a son of Rafael Carino and Maria Villa. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a production supervisor. He loved to read books and his Bible, watch old TV shows, spend time with his grandchildren and talk and share his stories. He was always happy and loved to dance when he was young.
Survivors include two daughters, Aurelia Carino-Hatton of Casa Grande and Christina Figueroa of Tucson; a son, Chris Carino of Riverside, Calif.; a sister, Nellie Carino of Eloy; a brother, Ralph Carino of Eloy; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara, and a sister, Minnie Hinojosa.
