Cristino N. Castillo

CASA GRANDE - Cristino N. "Tino" Castillo, 83, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 13, 2017, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Castillo was born on Dec. 1, 1934, in Tucson to Francisco and Anita (Navarez) Castillo. He served in the Army during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was a truck driver for Knight Transportation before retiring.

Survivors include four daughters and a son, Cindy Castillo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michelle Owens of Gilbert, Rachel Marquez of San Diego, Cristino Castillo Jr. of Casa Grande and Star Castillo-Stephans of Scottsdale; a sister, Hope Duran of Casa Grande; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor.
