ELOY - Curley C. Coyle, 71, a longtime and well-known resident of Eloy, died on Aug. 10, 2014, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Santa Cruz Valley Union High School auditorium. The funeral will follow at 11. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Coyle was born on Aug. 13, 1942, in Marshall, Texas, and was a son of Curlie Coyle and Hattie M. Davis Coyle. He attended several schools in Pinal County before attending and graduating from Santa Cruz High and was introduced to church with his family at an early age. While serving four years in the Air Force, he married his only love, Rosie L.
After his honorable discharge, he returned to Eloy, where he worked for city of Eloy Public Works and raised his family. He spent his days actively helping all he could, including his family, friends, church, various organizations and his beloved track stars.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Albert L. Coyle of Tucson; a daughter, Serpremna L. Coyle of Casa Grande; a brother, David E. Coyle of Houston; a sister, Jessie M. Foster of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Selena F. Coyle; two sisters, Mary and Alma Coyle; and five brothers, Raymond, James, Jessie L., Jessie F. and Curlie Coyle.
