CASA GRANDE - Curlie J. Keeton Smith, 76, of Houston died peacefully at her sister's home in Casa Grande on May 31, 2020.

Mrs. Smith was born on March 20, 1944, in Mesa and was a daughter of Elmus and Bessie Keeton of Casa Grande. She attended Casa Grande schools, including Casa Grande Union High School. She loved children and enjoyed taking care of people, especially family.

She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" and Jimmy Swaggart. She was known as a "very real person."

Survivors include seven sisters, Laura J. Mims of Casa Grande, Verta Tucker of Fairfield, Texas, Ruthie Keeton of Houston, Jana Farley of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Jackie Wedge of Houston, LaDonna Donaldson of Houston and Aretha Hamilton of Dallas, and three brothers, Kevin and Robert Keeton of Casa Grande and Rodney Keeton of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Smith, and a brother, Elmus Keeton Jr.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, and funeral at 11 at Fountains of Living Water Church in Casa Grande.
