SANTAN - Cynthia Kay Vavages, 58, of Santan died on May 31, 2019.
Ms. Vavages was born on Jan. 8, 1961, in Phoenix and was a daughter of Valerian F. Vavages and Cornelia M. Rhodes. She loved her family deeply. Her grandkids were very special to her, and there wasn't a moment when she wouldn't take time to be with them.
She was known as outspoken, selfless, hospitable and always laughing and smiling, and she liked family gatherings.
Survivors include her parents; seven sons and daughters, Raymond Little Eagle Pablo, Angelina Michelle, Lawrence, Philbert Jr., Diana, Lorenzo and Carrie Makil; four siblings, Stephanie, Steven and Michael Vavages and Michelle Eschief; 29 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elouise Pablo; a son, Daniel Scoffer; and a granddaughter, Esperanza Ramirez.
Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
