Dale Monroe Cassity, 82, of Casa Grande died on April 13, 2013, at home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The celebration of life will follow at 10, with Pastor Donnie Roye officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Cassity was born on May 20, 1930, in Ozark, Ark., and was a son of Clive and Hazle Cassity. He served in the Navy and was an agriculture specialist serving all of Pinal County for 40 years. He later worked part time at Norris RV. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Very supportive of his family, he was always with his grandchildren, taking them to their events, including sporting clay competitions. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, life member of the NRA and member of Desert Valley Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Dale Wayne Cassity of Casa Grande; two brothers, Clive Cassity of Casa Grande and William Cassity of Hamburg, Ark.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 10 nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph W. and Alvin C. Cassity, and a sister, Donie A. Cassity.
