Dale Howard Lessard, 84, of Casa Grande died March 22, 2007 in Casa Grande.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Ballew officiating.
Mr. Lessard was born Feb. 11, 1923 in Duluth, Minn., and was a son of David and Catherine Lessard. He served in the Army during World War II and entered the European Campaign in Normandy on D-Day. He was a sergeant, marksman and radio operator. He worked as an accountant at the Cleveland Casting Plant owned by Ford Motor Company.
Upon retirement 28 years ago, he and his wife moved to Casa Grande. He volunteered at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center for the past 20 years, giving of his time to help others.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Jinny; a daughter, Cathie Ann Morse of Mesa; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances, and a brother, George David Pennoyer.
