Dale Richard Keasling

On September 24, 2024 Dale Keasling passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.  Dale was born on November 8, 1951 to Donald and Elizabeth Keasling in Hastings, Nebraska.  He attended Harvard Public Schools until his graduation.  He attended Kearny State College until he was drafted into the Army where he served in Germany.  

On December 28, 1978 he married Janis Shilling.  Along with his love for her he also fell in love with her three boys, Travis, Brent and Quint.  And thus their journey began.  20 years owning Harvard Locker, moving to Council Bluffs, Iowa, spending a year in Suffolk, Virginia and finally settling in for retirement in Maricopa, Arizona.

Remaining to cherish his memories are his wife Janis, his sons Travis (and Linda), Brent (and partner Tamara), brothers and sisters in law Gene and Deb, Bruce and Marie and Julie, sister Diane and her husband John.  Along with his siblings there are 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, plus many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary, son Quint, and in laws Elmer and Geraldine.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in both Maricopa and Harvard so his many friends and family can reflect on his wonderful life.
