Dale Madewell

Dale Madewell, 88, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 10, 2014, at home.

A private service is planned.

Mr. Madewell was born on Sept. 10, 1925, in Vian, Oklahoma, and was a son of James S. and Drucella Madewell. He was a farm foreman and a loving, hardworking and kind man who was devoted to his family. A great story teller, he loved fishing and taking his grandchildren fishing and camping.

Survivors include a daughter, Melba Castro of Casa Grande; two sons, Dave Madewell of Coolidge and Lonnie Madewell of Eloy; two sisters, Ethel Hilton of Texas and Ora Lee Beck of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thanie, and a daughter, Sherron Madewell.
