Damian Miguel Tapia-Chavez, 4, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 18, 2011, in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Damian was born on Jan. 3, 2007, in Casa Grande. He was always smiling, laughing and happy. He was well liked and beginning at age 2 he had a passion for extreme sports including dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles and doing tricks on skateboards. He was a preschool student at Mesquite Elementary School.
Survivors include his parents, Marisa Chavez and Jesus Miguel Tapia Jr. of Casa Grande; a sister, Naya L. Tapia-Chavez of Casa Grande; and grandparents, Guadalupe and Maria Chavez and Jesus M. Tapia Sr., all of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Lisa Castro and great-grandparents Ernesto Corral and Angel Chavez.
