Damon Lee Stafford, 59, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 12, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.
The celebration of life will begin at 5 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Howard Holcomb officiating.
Mr. Stafford was born on Nov. 6, 1955, in La Porte, Indiana, and grew up in Walkerton, Indiana. He owned some businesses, including Ag Equipment in Indiana. In 2000 he started RU Bugged Pest Control in Casa Grande.
He loved to travel and loved trains. He owned with his wife a caboose from the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad that is in the Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler. He loved NASCAR and anything related to racing and was a very good mechanic. He loved animals, especially rescue animals, was a sports fan and very active.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Janice; two brothers, Charles Stafford of West Terre Haute, Indiana, and Kenneth Stafford of Walkerton; a sister, Connie Day of Mishawaka, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ruby Stafford; two brothers, Donald Stafford and Jack Day; and grandparents, Irvin and Elizabeth Campbell.
Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Humane Society.
