Daniel A. Hoppe

Daniel A. Hoppe, of Coolidge, was 68 when he passed away in his home on April 16, 2024. He was born on June 9, 1955, to Grace Krabbenhoft and Harry Hoppe in Fargo, North Dakota. Born into a farming family, Dan was the youngest of four children.
As a young man, Dan joined the United States Army and spent time stationed in Germany. He served from 1974-1980 when he was honorably discharged.
Dan was a man who found joy in simple pleasures – he enjoyed the solace of his property and took pride in tending to his garden and maintaining the trees and land surrounding his house. Dan was also known to enjoy a few cold Pabst Blue Ribbons in the evenings on his back porch and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his younger years.
Dan is survived by his two daughters, Ashley and Kristen Hoppe, as well as his brother Donald Hoppe, sister Eileen Hamilton, and two grandchildren. He is reunited in peace with his parents and two siblings, Barbara Borseth and Duane Hoppe.
