Daniel David Schneider

November 2, 1939 — April 15, 2018

Daniel David Schneider, 78, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, April 15, 2018.

Mr. Schneider was born on Thursday, November 2, 1939 in Syracuse, New York to Rohe Adolph and Esther Irene Schneider. Daniel graduated high school in Syracuse, New York. Dan served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. On Saturday, October 17, 1964, Daniel entered into marriage with Anne Motley Hawks in in Naples, New York. Dan was helpful, gracious, simple and kind; but what he leaves behind is everlasting. Every soul he touched; whether it was his humble words, cooking a delicious meal, helping in any way he could, or just a warm hug. He wanted you to walk away happy. That was our husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. We hope that this will reach all the people who had the opportunity to feel his kind spirit. Dan made his impact on the world through one simple act of kindness at a time.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Rohe and Esther Schneider; his brother, Rohe Schneider; and his grandson, Jacob Jeter.

Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anne Motley Schneider of Casa Grande, Arizona; his two daughters, Laurie Wight of Naples, New York and Kimberly Jeter of Santa Barbara, California; his five siblings, Arlen Schneider of Liverpool, New York, Gary Schneider of Baldwinsville, New York, Stacy Schneider of South Plymouth, New York, Marie Donovan of Clay, New York, and Jacqueline Schneider-Revette of Clay, New York; his six grandchildren; his one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and his many friends.
