Daniel Justin England

Daniel Justin England of Casa Grande and Flagstaff tragically passed away on December 14, 2024 while driving home from a gig alongside his bandmate and dear friend, Trevor. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, partner and friend.

Daniel graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 2012 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 2022.  

Daniel loved music. An avid musician, he taught himself to play several instruments. Some of his favorites were bass guitar, drums and keyboard, he also sang. He was in various bands; in most recent years he played bass in the band Hernia with his bandmates and very close friends. Daniel also loved skateboarding, gaming, and thrifting.  

Daniel was well rounded in his various jobs over the years. From agriculture to meat processing to pizza, he always immersed himself in his work and enjoyed his time experimenting. 

Daniel was a phenomenal brother. He looked up to his older brother and remained engaged with his two younger siblings, staying in close contact with them, attending their individual activities.  

In recent years his greatest passion was spending time with his two young nieces. He was teaching them how to skateboard and play guitar. He loved to build snowmen and play with them, and of course pester them endlessly. He had a big Christmas planned this year. 

Daniel was in a loving relationship with his partner Cyam Casteen. They lived in an old, rustic Flagstaff home and had the makings of a true love story.  

Daniel lived his life to the fullest, embracing his own uniqueness and enjoying the company and individuality of himself and his friends.  

Daniel is survived by his mother Kim (Jimmy) Kortsen, father Don (Heather) England, grandmothers Christal J. Grasty and Martha England, brothers Don (Brittnie) England and Brody England, sister Lainey England, uncle Joe (Jared) Nunn, aunt Suzie (Glen) Marcelo and nieces Emilia and Wrenlie England. 

 Daniel will be memorialized in our hearts as a hilarious, bright, and endlessly talented man who will be dearly missed forever. 

A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on Sunday December 22nd, 2024 10:00a.m at J Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, 525 N Peart Road, Casa Grande.  A reception will be held after the service back at the families residence in Casa Grande,
