Daniel Lancaster

Daniel C. Lancaster, a resident of Chubbuck, Idaho, was born May 26, 1936 in Twin Falls, ID and passed away March 15, 2014 in Casa Grande, AZ. He spent two years in the U.S. Army
where he was stationed in Berlin, Germany. He retired from the State of Idaho after 17 years as an Idaho State Policeman and 11-1/2 years as a Motor Vehicle Investigator. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Pierce Lancaster and three daughters: Dana (Norm) Hoyle, Lorie (Bill)
Reese and Joni (Tom) Crossan. He is also survived by the granddaughters, three step-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren; brother, Dave (Nancy) Lancaster and a sister, Betty Pfeile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Phebe Lancaster; his brothers, Fred and Bob Lancaster; and his grandson, Craig Storrier. Dan loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping with his family and dutch oven cooking. He was known for his
love of music. He loved entertaining others, whether it be his talent on the harmonica or quick wit. You could always count on Dan for a good story, joke or a fun game of pool. Beginning in 2000, Dan and Mary Lou spent their winters in the Fiesta Grande RV Resort in Casa Grande, AZ where they’ve enjoyed many fun activities and have met several lifelong friends. The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors at the RV Resort for their love and support and a special thanks to the doctors and caring staff at the Casa Grande Regional Medical
Center ICU Unit.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fiesta Grande RV Resort ballroom, 1511 East Florence Blvd. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud the Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
