Daniel Lewis

BAPCHULE — Daniel Christopher Lewis Sr., 52, died on March 14, 2012, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter feast house. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Sacate Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis was born on Dec. 1, 1959, in Phoenix. He was a press operator in the aerospace industry, working at Alexco for 15 years and Pimalco Inc. for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football games, dancing, going places and was the life of the party. He was cheerful, full of life, outgoing and down to earth.
Survivors include his companion, Angelita Cooley; two daughters, Jessica Coops of Phoenix and Sophia Lewis of Laveen; four sons, Victor, William and Daniel Lewis Jr., all of Laveen, and Derrick Lewis of Casa Blanca; his parents, Amanda Lewis-Carmen of Laveen and Bob Mac Harris of Second Mesa; five sisters, Rosemary Murillo of Surprise, Rebecca Rubalcaba and Donna Stewart of Casa Blanca, Colleen Antone and Elaina Carmen of Laveen; a brother, Edward Bahnimptewa of Phoenix; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Lomayaktewa.
