Daniel Nunez

TEMPE - Daniel C. Nunez Jr., 36, of Tempe died on May 14, 2014, at Hospice of the Valley Friendship Village.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Verdugo home in Guadalupe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Guadalupe. Burial will be in Guadalupe Cemetery.

Mr. Nunez was born on May 21, 1977, in Phoenix. He was a construction worker.

Survivors include his companion, Diana Chavez; two daughters, Serenity Nunez of Phoenix and Mia Nunez of Tempe; his parents, Alma Verdugo of Guadalupe and Daniel C. Nunez Sr. of Phoenix; two brothers, David Nunez of Phoenix and Joseph Tapia of Guadalupe; two sisters, Isabel Nunez of Phoenix and Bianca Tapia of Guadalupe; and his grandmother Guadalupe Verdugo of Guadalupe. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Comelio Verdugo.
