Daniel Ruiz Montijo

COOLIDGE - Daniel Ruiz Montijo, 64, of Coolidge died on May 17, 2017, at home.

Mr. Montijo was born on July 29, 1952, in Casa Grande to Manuel and Margarita (Ruiz) Montijo and was the youngest of four brothers and five sisters. He loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his wife.

He loved telling stories, joking around and going camping. He also loved his wife's tamales, beans and tortillas and really enjoyed watching cowboy movies.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Emma; seven sons and daughters, Danny Montijo of Coolidge, David and Diana Montijo of Florence, Deeanna Montijo of Casa Grande, Donnie Montijo of Coolidge, Debra Comeslast of Washington and Doralee Navarro of Coolidge; 29 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. Funeral at 11, with Pastor Leo Villarreal officiating.
