STOTONIC - Daniel Scoffer, 40, of Stotonic died on April 21, 2017.
Mr. Scoffer was born on Oct. 29, 1976, in Phoenix to Kay Vavages and Eric Scoffer. Known for his love of life and personality, he was a jokester with a great sense of humor. He had a kind heart - he once gave his shoes to a complete stranger in need.
He was very protective of those he loved, especially women and children. He enjoyed drawing and cooking, especially goulash, egg rolls and fry bread. He was devoted to his family, especially his children, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a daughter, Erica Scoffer, and her five siblings; his mother; five brothers, Lawrence Makil, Raymond "Eagle" Pablo, Philbert Makil Jr., Lorenzo Makil and Palmer Lomakema; three sisters, Diana, Carrie and Angelina Makil; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his biological father; the man who raised him, Philbert Makil Sr.; and a sister, Elouise Pablo.
Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the District 4 Service Center in Stotonic. Graveside service at 6 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Santan.
