SANTA ROSA — Darrell V. Carlos, 36, died Oct. 7, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Mission by Deacon Alfred Gonzalez. The wake will begin at 6. Burial will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in Southside Cemetery.
Mr. Carlos was born May 28, 1973 in Phoenix. He was a construction laborer. He enjoyed drawing, reading and helping others. He had many friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamara Carlos of Sells; a son, Zackary Mendoza of Sells; his mother, Juanita Carlos of North Santa Rosa; his grandmother, Lolisa Wood of Santa Rosa; two brothers, his twin, Darren Carlos of Phoenix, and Valentino Carlos of Peoria; and a sister, Antonita Moristo of Sells. He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Carlos.
