Darvin D. Rogers

PHOENIX - Darvin D. Rogers, 80, of Phoenix died on June 29, 2015, at home.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Foothills Baptist Church, 15450 S. 21st St. in Phoenix. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Rogers was born on Sept. 7, 1934, in Casa Grande and was a son of Joseph L. and Nellie B. Rogers. He farmed in the Eloy area for more than 45 years and was a big fan of all Arizona State sports and a booster club member. He was a member of Foothills Baptist Church in Ahwatukee and enjoyed golf and watching sports.

Survivors include his wife, Linda L.; two sons, David D. Rogers of Yuma and Danny L. Rogers of Arizona City; a daughter, Darla A. Eshelman of Edmond, Oklahoma; a stepson, Barry Winters of Mesa; two stepdaughters, Julie Ballentyne and Teri Siggins of Mesa;

10 grandchildren, Diane Rohrer, Da-Nell Rogers, David G. Rogers (L.D.), Sean Rogers, Bethany Baker, Connor Eshelman, Kevin Ballentyne, Alex Ballentyne, and Hayden Winters and
Kyle Siggins and two great grandchildren, Dax and Drake Rogers.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Davis.
