David Austin Baugher

TOLTEC - David Austin Baugher, 59, of Eloy died on July 12, 2014, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated later.

Mr. Baugher was born on May 29, 1955, in Baltimore. He was a mine heavy-equipment operator and a member of St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. A member of the National Parks Conservation Association, he enjoyed Wild West replication and history and going to Tombstone, where he intended to move eventually. He could dress like Virgil Earp and look like him.

Survivors include his wife, Rene; a daughter, Rachel Baugher of Toltec; a stepdaughter, Julie Valdivia of Phoenix; his father, David F. Baugher of Spring Hill, Florida; a sister, Donna Hart of Cadiz, Kentucky; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon A. Smith.
