CASA GRANDE - David Clark Williams, 70, of Casa Grande died on June 7, 2018, at home.
Mr. Williams was born on Jan. 21, 1948, in Winsted, Connecticut, to Harry and Margaret (Clark) Williams. He later had a stepfather, William Hotvedt. He served in the Army from 1968 until 1971 including in the Vietnam War. He moved his family from Tucson to Casa Grande in 1981 to serve as a building inspector for the city of Casa Grande.
He later owned and operated a general contracting business, Sojourn Construction, before joining the Arizona Department of Corrections. He retired as a sergeant after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L.; a daughter, Carie Williams; two sons, Darin and Brian Williams; a brother, Mark T. Williams; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Williams, and a grandson, John D. Williams.
