David Anthony Coronado, 50, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 3, 2013, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 1 Service Center in Blackwater. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Blackwater Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in West Blackwater Cemetery.
Mr. Coronado was born on May 15, 1962, in Sacaton. He worked as a roofer and attended Blackwater Presbyterian Church. He was very good at arts and crafts and his specialty was making dream catchers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking trips to the desert to collect wood and artifacts.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa H.; three sons, Alex C., Matthew J. and David "DJ" Coronado Jr., all of Sacaton Flats; two daughters, Jackie L. and Miranda L. Coronado of Sacaton Flats; a stepson, Benjamin Harmer of Casa Grande; his mother, Lenore Coronado; five brothers, Victor and Bernardo Coronado Jr. of Blackwater, Cecilio Coronado of Sacaton Flats, Angelo Coronado of Spokane, Wash., and Benicio Coronado of Sacaton; four sisters, Candace Mejia, Tamara O'Dell, Alicia Coronado and Danishia Bourgeois, all of Sacaton; a stepbrother, Gabriel Parker of Casa Grande; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron J. Coronado; his father, Bernardo Coronado Sr.; a brother, Joaquin Coronado; and two sisters, Matilda Renteria and Jessie Rojas.
