David Johnson

ELOY — David Michael Johnson Sr., 55, of Eloy died on Jan. 29, 2011, at home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Frances Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born on Feb. 4, 1955, in Merced, Calif. He served in the Navy and was a warehouse shipping manager. He was a member of a lowrider car chapter and Majestics Car Club in Casa Grande. He was a Cowboys and Packers fan and enjoyed building lowriders and helping out at a tire shop. He also assisted in building self-help homes. He was a jack of all trades who often lent a hand to others.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; a son, David M. Johnson Jr. of Casa Grande; a daughter, Jessica M. Johnson of Stanfield; a brother, Kenneth E. Johnson Jr. of Missouri; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria F. Vasquez and Kenneth E. Johnson Sr., and a brother, Robert W. Johnson.
