David K. Wicks

David Kenneth Wicks, 72, of Casa Grande died October 14, 2021 of COVID complications.

David was born on March 29, 1949 in Aurora Illinois, to Robert Kenneth and Ruth (Raber) Wicks. He moved with his family to California in 1965.

He graduated from La Habra High School in 1967.

In 1971, he married Selma L. Harris in Brookline, Massachusetts. They went on to have two daughters. David and Selma moved to Casa Grande in 2006.

For many years, David was self-employed in gasket manufacturing.

David is described as an avid lover of Corvettes. He also loved his dog very much.

David was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Selma Wicks of Casa Grande; by his daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca J. & Douglas Isa, and Kimberly A. Wicks all of southern California; by his sister Sharon Lynn Wicks of Ontario, California; by his three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place in Arizona at a later time.
