David Lee Broom

David Lee Broom, 68, of Maricopa, AZ, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Ola Weeks, brother Charles "Chuck" Zeller and sister Clara Menges. Beloved husband of Gail Broom; devoted father of Darlene Broom and David Broom of Maricopa. Dear brother of Sarah Rediker, Leoma Kusma, both of Hemet CA, Irene Quinn of El Cajon, CA Iline Van Winkle of Yuma CA, Carry Kay Parkinson of Colorado and Tilford Zeller of Colorado Springs, CA. Mr. Broom was employed as a material handler for the US Defense Department and was a US Marine Corp veteran during the Viet Nam war. David was an avid follower of artist Bob Ross and also enjoyed writing Christian songs. He had a wonderful talent being able to skillfully play many different instruments. Cremation will be private. Arrangements entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Gardens Chapel, Casa Grande.
