David Roby

ELOY — David Elwood Roby, 70, of Eloy died on Dec. 25, 2011, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
A private service will be held later.
Mr. Roby was born on July 2, 1941, in Wellsville, Ohio, and was a son of Daisy G. and Victor W. Roby Sr. He had a career in the Navy, including six tours of duty in the Vietnam War, and retired after 20 years. He later worked for General Dynamics and retired after 14 years. His hobby was watching NASCAR, and he was a big wrestling fan. He loved working on cars.
Survivors include his wife, Jody L.; a son, David E. Roby Jr. of Rhode Island; a daughter, Marianne Pearce of Maine; and a sister, Gladys Basler of New Mexico.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
