Dean Runyan

Dean Lee Runyan, 76, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 23, 2012, at home.
A private family celebration is planned.
Mr. Runyan was born on Aug. 20, 1936, in Oak Creek, Colo., and was a son of James L. and Juliette Runyan. He served in the Air Force and was a mechanic and auto service manager. He was Presbyterian and a volunteer and lieutenant in the Arizona Rangers, very proud of his service. His hobbies were hunting and fishing, but most of all his family was his life, especially his wife and grandchildren. He had a passion for photography, enjoying it when he could no longer hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Reva R.; three daughters, Jullie K. Hilburn of Scottsdale, Carla J. Cooper of Casa Grande and Karren L. Younce of Maricopa; a son, Bill J. Runyan of Casa Grande; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Runyan, and two sisters, Lucienne Stetson and Elsie Bush.
