BLACKWATER - Deborah "Jab" Juste, 47, of Blackwater died May 9, 2009 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 1 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in West Blackwater Cemetery, with Pastor John Jacobs officiating.
Mrs. Juste was born Aug. 13, 1961 in Sacaton and graduated from Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, Calif. She was a homemaker and was active in District 1 community activities on the Gila River Indian Community. She was a member of American Legion Unit 51 Auxiliary in Blackwater.
Survivors include her husband, Dean; two daughters, Fawn F. Morago and Jayne Juste of Blackwater; a son, John Juste of Blackwater; her mother, Delphine Johnson of Blackwater; her stepmother, Arlene Johnson of Olberg; three brothers, Delbert Johnson of Blackwater, Drake Lewis of Mesa and Edwin Johnson Jr. of Olberg; a stepbrother, Ivan Whitman of Casa Blanca; four sisters, Sharon Lewis of Upper Santan, Yvonne and Martha Johnson of Blackwater and Carmella Johnson of Olberg; a stepsister, Dordeen Allison of Sacaton; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin E. Johnson, and a sister, Angela Johnson.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
