CASA BLANCA — Debra Cruz-Moreno, 48, of Chandler died on Sept. 18, 2012, at home.
The wake and rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at St. Peter feast house. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Tuesday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Stotonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Cruz-Moreno was born on Sept. 17, 1964, in Sacaton. She was a casino food-preparation worker and was very outgoing and understanding. Her husband loved and cherished her and thought she would never leave. Debra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She loved her four Chihuahuas and took them everywhere she went.
Survivors include her husband, Celso Cruz-Moreno; five sons, Mario and Alberto Betancourt of Mesa, Ignacio Betancourt of Gilbert, Margarito and Sergio Betancourt of Chandler; a daughter, Eva Betancourt of Mesa; two brothers, Gerald and Robert Wilson of Bapchule; four sisters, Wanda Hobson of Los Angeles, Brenda Kyyitan of Casa Blanca, Sheila Toro of Sweetwater and Iris Osife of Stotonic; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Sarah Wilson; a brother, Roderick Wilson; and a sister, Frances Wilson-Lyons.
