Delbert B. Wellington

BAPCHULE - Delbert B. Wellington Sr., 61, of Bapchule died Nov. 29, 2008 at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at Lighthouse Miracle Church in Casa Blanca. The funeral there will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Fernald Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be in Snaketown Cemetery.

Mr. Wellington was born April 2, 1947 in Sacaton and was a son of Sidney Wellington and Christine Peters. He was a pastoral assistant. He enjoyed various crafts and encouraging people and loved animals.

Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Morgan of Scottsdale and Joycelyn Wellington of Casa Grande; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Delbert B. Wellington.
