Della Laverne Jones

On Saturday July 3, 2021, surrounded by her family, Della LaVerne Jones passed sweetly into the arms of Jesus at age 77.
Della (Vern) was born July 1, 1944 to James & Iler Holden in Collinwood TN. She was raised working in the cotton fields then moved to AZ in 1962 with her husband, now of 60 years, where they raised their family of 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

She made her God-given calling priority in her life by being a bold Minister of the Gospel for 55 years. She and her husband began Pastoring Christ Assembly Church in 1982. She has fed, clothed, and ministered to many families in Pinal county. If it wasn't a Church day, she would pray with you at Warehouse Furniture, where she started working part-time in 1982, then later purchased and operated with her husband until 2013.
Della was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her husband Garvin Jones, 3 children Davona DeAlatorre (Jehonathan), Garvin Jones Jr (Sherry), Dionne Palomino (Tony), 6 grandchildren Heather Wallace (Aaron), LaTonya Buchanan (Patrick Pease), Jack Jones III, Tony Palomino Jr, Aurora Palomino (Bram Briskorn), Adela Palomino, and 10 great-grandchildren Joseph, Lilliana, Alex, William, Tiana, Nathan, Ryder, Caleb, Daniel, Isabella.
