Delmar "D.V." Baker, 88, of Casa Grande died July 18, 2009 in the Show Low area.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Ballew officiating.
Mr. Baker was born in Carroll, Neb., and was a son of Othal S. and Della Purus Baker. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was proud of his service. He was a real estate broker and owned D.V. Baker Realty in Casa Grande.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the sport. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 41 in Oregon and received the 32nd Degree in Phoenix. He also was a member of Scottish Rite in Tucson.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mary Ann; two sons, Gary Baker and Roger Alexander of Oregon; two daughters, Sheree Rabourne of Oregon and Lori Tippett of Arizona; a sister, Della Mae Taylor of Oregon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Baker, and a sister, Viola Ballantyne.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or Hospice Charitable Fund of Central Arizona, 1675 E. Monument Plaza Drive, Casa Grande, AZ 85222.
