Delores Pearl Antone

BLACKWATER - Delores Pearl Antone, 92, of Blackwater died on July 31, 2019.

Mrs. Antone was a daughter of Ruth and Issac Porter. She worked for the Gila River Indian Community's alcohol and drug program as an abuse counselor and enjoyed being with family and friends.

She was a great cook and enjoyed red chili. Her family was her world.

Survivors include six adult children, Lester, Cecil, Darlene, Norma, Vernon and Lavina, all of Blackwater; a sister, Claudina Porter; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; a son, Gordon Antone; and two sisters, Beatrice Porter and Betty Enos.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, at the District 1 Multipurpose Building. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Holy Family Catholic Mission. Burial in West Cemetery.
