Delphina Lena Lewis

ANEGAM VILLAGE - Delphina Lena Lewis, 66, of Anegam, a well-known basket weaver, died on June 19, 2020, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mrs. Lewis was born on Oct. 17, 1953, in Buckeye to Jose and Aurelia (Antone) Angelino. She attended Phoenix Indian High School.

She was a traditional basket weaver, and some of her work is on display at the Heard Museum in Phoenix. She was godmother to many children in her community.

She is survived by a brother, Daniel Anghill, and a sister, Marlene Anghill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas, in 2011.

Burial in Anegam Cemetery. Contact the family for further information.
