Dennis Edward Hester

ELOY- Dennis Edward Hester, 51, of Eloy passed away on January 12, 2017 at home.
Mr. Hester was born on October 1, 1965 in Casa Grande and was the son of Nathan Eugene "Gene" and Dorothy Hester.
Dennis was a correctional officer for 19 years. He enjoyed riding his quad and driving his jeep and was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a laid back guy; and the one to go to if you were feeling down. Dennis had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone, asking nothing in return. He was a true family man; devoted to his loved ones. He really loved his nieces and nephews, always there guiding them along the way. He loved his mama, a real "Mama's boy" and he was the best dad. He had a very strong bond with his ex wife, Rebecca Brown-Hester. As a man he remained strong and proud, even through sickness and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Hester of Eloy, AZ; a son, Brandon Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Donald Hester of Coolidge, AZ; his mother, Dorothy Hester of Eloy, AZ; his ex wife, Rebecca Brown-Hester and his nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his best friend of 36 years, Keith Bagby.
He was preceded in death by his father, an uncle and his grandparents.
