Dereck Colen Brown

SACATON - Dereck Colen Brown, 24, died on April 4, 2016, at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center.

Mr. Brown was born on Feb. 17, 1992, in Chandler.

Survivors include four daughters, Nayeli Brown of Casa Grande, Alanah Brown of Salt River, Nevaeh Jackson of Sacaton and Clairissa Cruz of Laveen; two sons, Adrian Brown of Salt River and Damien Jackson of Sacaton; his father, Martin Brown Jr. of Santan; six sisters, Latisha Tobey, Amaris, Amanda, Ariana and Allaya Antone, all of Sacaton, and Vanessa Tobey of Blackwater; and three brothers, Tharol D. Brown of Blackwater, Michael Thomas of Sacaton and Sky Carmillo of Santan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tamara Tobey.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at John Murgia's home. The address is 1780 S. Quail Rd. Blackwater District 1. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission in Upper Santan. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
